Critics usually end a sentence with 'were they high when they wrote/directed/commissioned this?'

This couldn't be more accurate, there are a lot of movies pitched during hollywood parties, and with these hollywood parties there are a LOT of drugs and alcohol: Thus pitching shit movies + hollywood party = Commissioned. My advice to budding writers, somehow got yourself into a hollywood party, go to a producer/director that is off their face; and pitch away! No matter how bad it is they will commission you!

So the answer to the rhetorical question is. Yes, yes they were high when they made this movie.....
